Miscellany Celebration Shows

Judi Daykin is a working actor, a writer and a theatre director. She is also a folk singer and member of her local folk club. She believes that Britain’s wonderful legacy of folk music is one of the best kept secrets in the country. In much of her work Judi has often found chances to surreptitiously introduce her audiences to her favourite folk songs.

Now Judi is developing a series of Miscellany shows to celebrate various times of the year – currently Christmas and Midsummer. Further variations and themes can be made available.

The shows last about an hour, include popular poems, folk and seasonal songs and an original ghost story set in Norfolk. The aim is to combine all Judi’s skills into an unusual package that can be performed in most venues, for different interest groups and is suitable for most age groups. They will be gentle celebrations, but with the twist of a ghost story in the middle.

Suitable for small venues, rural touring, folk clubs or as an evening entertainment  for Friends groups, W.I. etc.  Currently available on request. Email or call Judi to discuss requirements.
